DESCRIPTION:The Northampton County Medical Society\nwill be holding an Opioid Abuse Licensure Requirement Virtual CME Meeting on\nTuesday\, November 18\, 2025  6:30PM – 8:30PM\nfor our member physicians. \nThe PA Department of Health and Quality Insights have partnered to offer live-virtual opioid education sessions at no cost to you. This program qualifies for ACT 124 Prescribing Practices for Opioids CME or Patient Safety/Risk Management Credit (but not both). \nEach module also fulfills one of the required eight training hours on opioid or other substance use disorders treatment\, as mandated by the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 for DEA-registered practitioners. \nPhysicians: The CAMC Health Education and Research Institute designates this virtual live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for each module.
